The following points on general guidelines and formatting information should be noted by those wishing to submit their manuscript to IJEAE:

• All articles, research papers, and book reviews must be written in English
• All manuscripts should be sent to the Associate Editor electronically. Submissions can be in Microsoft Word.doc, RTF, or equivalent open-source Document file format.
• Provide an abstract of between 200-250 words. Provide all the authors’ names in their correct order on the article. Author(s) short biography (very short-100 words) is encouraged. This should include the name, rank, institution, institutional address, and email address.

• Use simple formatting “bold” or italic. Use Arial 12-point font for the Title, in bold case and NOT all in CAPITALS and Arial 10-point font for the remainder of your article or research report. Use single spacing throughout. No indentation of the first line of a paragraph.
• First-level headlines should be in bold upper case and second-level headings in bold upper and lower case. No footnotes- instead use endnotes- where necessary.
• Tables, figures and other diagrams should be put within the main text, and not at the back of the article or research report as appendices.
• Articles that have appeared in other journals and/or are under consideration to be published should not be sent to IJEAE
• Before sending the manuscript to IJEAE please ensure that your article, paper, or research report does not contain work taken from other sources without the appropriate acknowledgment. All articles, papers and research reports will be checked for originality using ‘Turnitin” software.
• Refereed research articles should be between 3,000 – 8,000 words in length, descriptive research reports should not be less than 10,000 words and not more than 45,000, and descriptive articles and case studies should be 2,500-5,000 words.
• Articles and research reports describing students’ academic achievement, the relationship between two or more educational variables should include empirical data
• References should be in APA style (version 7 or 8). They should relate only to materials cited within the manuscript and be listed in alphabetical order, including the author(s)’ name(s), complete title of the cited work, title of the source, volume, issue, year of publication, and pages cited- (for sources from published articles or research reports). For books: the author(s)’ name(s), complete title of the cited work, , and name of publisher.

Note:  The Chief Editor reserves the right to reject manuscripts that fail to meet the stipulated guidelines. Manuscript acceptance/rejection notification is 5 -28 days after submission. Only electronic Submissions should be made (emailed as an attachment) to the given submission platform.
