Abstract

Despite the proven usefulness of mind mapping in education, few authors have developed an evaluation system in order to improve educational results. In this context, the aim of this study is to analyse the reliability and validity of a mind map evaluation rubric (REMM). It is an exploratory study applied to a sample of 57 mind maps made by education students and evaluated by three raters. As a result, the values obtained allow us to affirm that it is a reliable and valid evaluation instrument, in some cases even improving on the results obtained in other studies that evaluated rubrics with similar methodologies.
